May 2019 – Bryony Critchley

After a childhood of travel in Africa, the Far East and the Caribbean, Bryony Critchley studied Art at Middlesex University. She has always painted and found that as her style evolves, an abiding love of colour and texture run consistently through her work.

Art remains her outlet for self-expression, joy and she hopes, connection with others. She is influenced by the changing seasons, beauty in the world around her, the experience of parenthood and the creativity of the incredible people surrounding her in the village she has called home for the past nine years.

Bryony’s vibrant abstract oils will be on show in the gallery for the month of May.
