She talks about her work here:

‘I have always been a traveller. Being born and brought up in East Africa and the Solomon Islands, the threads of my childhood were inextricably woven into a vibrant tapestry of colour, excitement and anticipation – every new country, or town or village is a new chapter to look forward to in my travels.

Susan Sontag said ‘The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people’s reality, and eventually in one’s own.’ However, I think I prefer Marcel Proust’s suggestion that – ‘The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.’

The photographs and books I have on display in the Over the Sofa Gallery, I hope, capture the beauty and simplicity I found in other countries and cultures, and reflect the wonder of the natural world that is all around us.’
