As our Over the Sofa gallery is temporarily closed during the Covid-19 lockdown, we’ll be featuring Art in the Window for your enjoyment. Our May artist is Olivia Browne. We’ll be showing two collages from Olivia’s Wonderland triptych, and the latest edition of Defaced zine.

Collage artist Olivia Browne has been based in Wivenhoe since 2002, teaching Art and Art History at The Sixth Form College, Colchester.  Her practice is process-led and she works in a mostly unplanned and unconscious way with found materials and her own photographs.

Olivia has exhibited nationally and internationally with artist groups and collage collectives and is creator and editor of Defaced zine.
