Latest News from Wivenhoe Bookshop

I have made the difficult decision, for the safety of all, to close the bookshop during the continuing 2021 lockdown until the end of February. I’ll be reviewing this situation in line with ongoing government advice.

Friends we miss you all, and we miss the gregarious daily hubbub in the bookshop – but be assured we’re still here for all of your bookish needs.

As we find ourselves in lockdown once more we want to be prepared and sustain each other with our shared passion for reading, and our escapist imagination.

Bookshop.org is a new online platform to support independent bookshops, and when you choose to shop on it, we get a share of the profit. We thank you for your continued support.

Customers can purchase from the bookshop via our website at:

Wivenhoe Bookshop

Go to Bookshop.org.uk and click on the ‘find a bookshop’ link at the top right of the page.

When you arrive at the Wivenhoe Bookshop page you will find a selection of books to browse.

If the book you require is not there put it in the ‘find a book’ search box at the top of the page. National Book Token Gift cards can be redeemed for your purchase.

Your support is appreciated.

Stay safe friends.

Best wishes

Sue Finn
