It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like………

6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

St. Mary’s Church Wivenhoe invites from the youngest to the oldest members of our community to a brilliant event.

The Christmas lights will be turned on at 6 p.m. by the Mayor Cllr. Andrea Luxford-Vaughan.  We hope to see lots of people in the churchyard just before 6 p.m. ready for the countdown.

The Shops will be open in lower Wivenhoe High Street, some may have free drinks and nibbles.

We have lots of Stalls booked in by local organisations, businesses and those selling crafts suitable for Christmas gifts will be both inside St Mary’s Church and outside in the churchyard.

Children – Santa will be in church to greet you and accept your letters.  These need to have the name, address and age of the sender so that individual replies can be sent.  A £1 per family donation would be appreciated.

For one night only in Wivenhoe – don’t miss it!

Buggies – due to problems with crowding within the church it is regretted that the number of buggies allowed to enter the church at any one time will be restricted but they can easily be left  outside.
