Local artists Kate Dunton and Kate Powis present a collection of works made about, around and out of the River Colne.

Kate Dunton works in paint, incorporating a variety of natural materials and processes in order to express the creative/corrosive forces of the river and the ever-changing patterns that its salt winds and daily tides leave on our environment.

 Kate Powis constructs assemblages from flotsam and found objects. For this collection, themes of magic, religion and science have emerged that evoke human attempts to protect and be protected by the river and all it means to us.
