We’ll be showing works in oil from Wivenhoe artist Anthony Jones’ ‘Interiors’ series during July and August. Anthony began painting after a successful career in graphic design and typography, and exhibits nationally and internationally.
He talks about his work here:
‘Originally from North Wales, I have been a Wivenhoe artist for 8 years. The current studio is our home opposite the Wet Dock at Wivenhoe. My work is ideas driven and working in series. I believe there is a strong sense of calmness and structure in my work.
I am currently a member of the Paint Collective, a group of dedicated painters living and working in the Colchester area.’
