For May we’ll be showing work by Grace Woods.

She talks about her work here:

‘For my pieces, I use a lot of movement with an abstract view of the female form – all shapes and sizes, embracing the beauty of all womankind.

I enjoy exploring, seeing and creating women’s bodies – using fine lines and paint to celebrate the female form.  I keep mainly to monochrome, but use a sharp red for lips.

These pieces I’m showing vary from early pieces to later work, which illustrates the change in my abstract process over the years.

I have also explored the changes of my own body – getting older, journeying trauma and changing shape. I want to own this change.

I aim to honour womanhood and all females through my work – and to embrace by their beauty in all their shapes.’
