For September we have an exciting new exhibition of contemporary art black and white photographs by Wivenhoe artist, Miranda Campbell.

Miranda studied photography with the British photographers John Blakemore, Peter Goldfield and Fay Godwin. The photos in the exhibition were made using a light sensitive emulsion which has been painted on to artists’ paper under a safe light in the darkroom.

Miranda has an MA Degree (Distinction) in ‘Art, Design and The Book’, which she received through The Minories, Colchester and the University of Essex. She also works as a Book Artist,  making sculptural book art and handmade leather notebooks.
