We are delighted to celebrate Wivenhoe Artists with an exhibition of paintings and prints by the late Alan Taylor, and the launch of a new Jardine Press book Wivenhoe Artists 1946 to 1986 by James Dodds, one of the next generation of Artists. The book is richly illustrated, showing the talent this town had to offer the art world, and Alan was one of the main contributors to the book and a featured artist.

Wivenhoe Artists 1946-1986 is a celebration of the artists who lived and worked in Wivenhoe in the post war years, including Dicky Chopping and Denis Wirth-Miller, John and Pam Dan, Roy and Gail Cross, Micheal Heard, Tony Young, John Meade, John Doubleday, Dicki Boardman, Ted Atkinson, Barry Woodcock, Louis and Jackie Claiborne.
