We’re Back, and Bookish as Ever
WELCOME BACK BOOKLOVERS!
We opened our doors again on Monday 15th June, and it’s great to be back. We are now keeping our normal business hours as follows:
Tues – Sat 9.30 – 5.30 (Closed 1-2)
Sun 10.00 – 4.00
We are so looking forward to seeing all of our customers, but of course we have put special measures in place for customer and staff safety. There will be a queueing system in operation outside the shop and we are permitted to have two people in the shop at once, one in each room.
We will greet you through our rather clever new counter screen, and ask customers to use our hand sanitiser before browsing. We are currently able to accept contactless card payments only
Lockdown and Read Up
Reading can transport you to a different place in these challenging times. Losing yourself in a good book is a relief and respite from the anxieties we’re experiencing at the moment. We’re here to help and happy to recommend books to suit you.
We understand that some people still need to isolate, and we’re delighted to be able to offer these delivery services. We look forward to hearing from you, and hope that yourselves, family and friends are all keeping well.
Free Local Delivery
To place an order call us on 01206 824050 or email at info@wivenhoebooks.com and your books will be delivered by bicycle at a convenient time.
We’re happy to help yoou choose or to make recommendations.
Mail Order Service
- Orders for single books can be placed through us for national delivery
- 48hr tracked delivery service for £2.00, or 24hr service is available at a further cost
- One book per parcel, you may order more but each will be charged at £2.00
- Single books costing over £20 delivered FREE
